Marvin Milton, a public adjuster since 1958, is the third generation of his family to work in the industry. His grandfather, David Milton, began helping businesses with insurance claims in Boston's West End in 1898. Marvin has carried on this great family tradition and is a leading lecturer and author on insurance and claims issues. His articles have appeared in national publications, including National Underwriters, Best's Review and New England Real Estate Journal as well as the Anderson Kill & Olick Policyholder Advisor;, he frequently lectures on business interruption insurance for Northeastern University's Insurance Institute.
A member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, The Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, Marvin was designated a Fellow Professional Public Adjuster by The National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters for excelling in the practice of public adjusting. In 1997, he was named "Person of the Year" by the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
Marvin received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and A.B. degree with great distinction from Stanford University. He lives in Newton, MA with his wife, Roberta. Outside of his work, Marvin enjoys taking in the Red Sox games. |
