Diane Swerling joined the firm - and family members Bruce and Dayle - in 1994. Her areas of focus include major residential property losses, business property losses and business interruption. Diane's personal experience with property loss has given her a unique perspective. With a two-year period, fire struck both the condominiums where she lived and the SMW offices. She helped her condominium association work through the many details of their claim and ultimately obtained a fair settlement. At SMW, she learned, first-hand, how important it is to minimize business interruption after an incident. Diane moved quickly to first temporarily relocate the business, and then to prepare and settle the claim for damages so that business operations could be seamlessly restored.
In addition to her extensive claims experience, Diane manages all administrative aspects of the firm, ensuring highly efficient and productive operation of the business. She is treasurer of the Massachusetts Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and a board member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
Diane received her B.A. from the University of Arizona. She lives in Boston, MA, where she is a trustee of her condominium association, and enjoys working out, golf, cooking and baking. |
